CREnearME is a commercial real estate listing service for Florida. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect and who can see it.
If you are browsing listings
- You don't need an account, and we don't ask for your name, email or phone to look at listings, flyers or maps.
- We count listing views, flyer opens and shares so brokers can see interest in their listings. These counts store the listing, the time and the page that sent you here. They don't store your IP address or your name.
- Your IP address is used briefly in memory to stop abuse (rate limits). It is not saved with the counts. Like any website, our hosting provider's standard request logs record it for a short time.
- Pages load fonts from Google Fonts and map tiles from OpenStreetMap, which receive your IP address the same way.
- We don't sell your information, and we don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
If you contact a broker
When you call, text or email a broker from a listing, that goes straight from your phone or email app to the broker. When you send a question through a form on CREnearME, what you enter (name, email or phone, and your message) goes to the brokerage that listed the property, so they can answer you. Only that brokerage and CREnearME can see it.
If you are a broker or brokerage
- Your account holds your name, email and a scrambled (hashed) password. A sign-in cookie keeps you signed in; it is used only for that.
- Listings, photos and branding you add are shown publicly when you publish them. Drafts are visible only to your brokerage.
- Property facts may come from public records (county property appraisers, FEMA flood maps, FDOT traffic counts). Property owner names and mailing addresses are never shown on public pages, flyers or website widgets.
Website widgets
When a brokerage shows its listings on its own website with the CREnearME widget, the widget loads from crenearme.com. The same counting rules apply.
Deleting your information
To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, ask the brokerage that listed the property (or, for brokers, your brokerage admin). They will pass your request to CREnearME.
